Mark
is a keen Rugby player and both Kate and Mark liked the relaxed
atmosphere of Ripon's Rugby club so much they decide why not have
their wedding reception there. The day started with a lovely civil
service in Harrogate's Registry office just off The Stray.
The weather was pretty grim first thing but fortunately yet the
guests brought colourful umbrellas with them with certainly brighten
up the reflections that flashed through the puddles. By the time
we got to Ripon Rugby club the skies had cleared and remarkably
the day had transformed into a lovely warm day.
Kate and Mark's wedding was all a relaxed and informal affair
with some lovely speeches, fresh fish and chips, (so tasty!) and
interesting images in a slideshow showing the groom and groomsmen
in their Smurf outfits.
As the reception carried on into the evening my time was up so
I reluctantly left knowing that I had a busy day the following
day so couldn't be a social as I would have liked. It was a shame
to go just as the whole spit roast pig was ready!
